NEW ADDRESS, BUT WE HAVEN’T MOVED ;-)

April3

With the new road construction and several road name change debates, the county has finally settled on what our new address is.

315 Colonel Cox Road South 40013

The original address was 11535 Louisville Road. The old address should still work in your GPS and maps for another year or so.

It looks like google has updated its maps to reflect  the new name so you can click this link for direction

https://goo.gl/maps/3LDwwmAQfZ32

If you are in Louisville or coming from the north, go south on 31E 7 miles past Mt Washington, turn left on 480, right on Colonel Cox and we are on the left a few hundred yards up.

If you are in Bardstown or coming from the south, head north on 31E, turn right on 480, right on Colonel Cox and we are on the left a few hundred yards up.

Mater days is coming Friday April 20th !!

Our succulent collection

April3

Below is a list of our full succulent collection. A number of these are not in production, and therefore not for sale. Some varieties are just too slow and/or difficult to propagate.

Have no fear, we have many many varieties for sale. Please come out and check them out, I’ll talk your ear off about them. And one day, one day, I’ll get more pictures posted of our collection.

FALL HOURS

October10

Greetings All!  We hope you’re having a great fall. I’m still waiting for those cool crisp days and even cooler nights. As plants are beginning to slow down and prepare for winter, we are busy gearing up for Holiday decorations. We will be making fresh greenery wreaths and tabletop trees again this year. We are also deep into production for next year; cuttings on herbs and succulents, ordering more perennials, prepping for veggie production and Mater Days.  Always something going on here.

We wanted to give you an update on current hours. Circumstances dictate that our FALL HOURS be RANDOM. Generally speaking one of us is usually on the property, and we always love company. Please fell free to come out and visit, but it’s best if you call beforehand to see if we’re here or call and make plans to come at a certain time.  502.296.1499

We have a small selection of herbs and perennials left. And we have plenty of succulents still to get lost in. Again, we always love to see people excited about plants!, don’t hesitate to stop in.

Thieneman’s Greenhaus is a family owned and operated garden center, located in beautiful Coxs Creek, KY. Two years ago we took a leap of faith and decided to relocate our garden center after the family farm sold. We found a picturesque 10 acre farm just south of Mt Washington and we started settling in. After not quite 2 years now, we still feel like we’re moving in. But we thankfully didn’t have to skip a season. We had a great first year, and it looks like we’ll have a great second year. We are extremely thankful our loyal customers followed us, and a bunch of new people have found us too.
We have been specializing in herbs and perennials for almost 60 years. Our herb collection is probably the largest in the area. For 15 years now we have grown a large variety of heirloom tomatoes, peppers and veggies. And we have a great love for succulents as well, our collection is ever growing. Our goal is to be your favorite local garden center known for unusual and hard to find plants. We love our plants!!
